Well folks, it’s day three of the Summer Olympic Games and I’ve been glued to my TV set. If you watched swimming last night, then you saw as Team USA just barely lose the gold medal in the men’s 4X100 meter relay. Sorry, Ryan Lochte you can’t win ‘em all!
LONDON – Ryan Lochte and Michael Phelps were called on for the final in the men’s 4×100-meter freestyle relay despite not participating in the qualifier for Team USA.
It wasn’t enough.
Lochte was given the lead after three legs but was overtaken as he swam for the wall. French swimmer Yannick Agnel surged ahead of Lochte to earn the gold for his team. Read more here.
In spite of last night’s semi-disappointing finish, we still have high hopes for Team USA. We’re rooting for Michael Phelps to win two more medals so he can be the most decorated olympian of all time!
